Hutterites

“The Hutterites are communal-living, pacifist Christians whose origins date back to the 16th century. Most of today’s Hutterites farm in Western Canada. During a cross-Canada trip, in the summer of 1976, I was honored to be given permission to photograph their simple, gentle lives at the Glidden Colony in Saskatchewan.”

These and 18 additional Hutterite images and prints are available at Hudson River Fine Art.

An article from the Canada Museum of Agriculture and Food about the Hutterites that uses Mr. Kazimierski’s photos.
